Meet one of MOYTOY community artists Luis Morchela.

His colorful and friendly characters now can be found on his customized MOYTOY sketchbooks and swings and his LOVE HURTS couple is also on the way to MOYTOY ONLINE SHOP.

• For the beginning a boring question. What does your nickname means?

Curious, because I think I never answered that question.

My nickname is a very simple story, one day I did a drawing of a couple and I do not know why I wrote “lovicouple” as an alternative love word, I found more sweet I can’t explicate why, and I found the word so ridiculous but at the same time funny that I decided to give my character family name of LoviWorld ... that's it!

• You know that game, when you ask „if he/she was a car, what car he/she would be“? So I am asking you, if you were a character, what would you be?

That's a funny game!! So if I was a character I probably I would be the Woody WoodPecker

because he spends all day smile and happy, but he has a stupid smile; so that's me for sure!!

• Why are you drawing/colouing/creating?

I think this is the easiest question...and the answer is so simple; it's just because

I do not imagine myself doing anything else in my life...it's a passion, I think it's

how I communicate with everyone! Creating something it's so unique...

• How do you create? How does it look from aside?

The way as I create appears spontaneously, comes inside of me, sincerely a lot of times I don't know the reason of that drawing. But sometimes i’m inspired about what I observed during the day or of some event that has happened, but basically I think I play with myself and i take much fun of it.

I think the prospect that people may have from aside, is confusion but at the same time funny, but I think everyone end up laughing and go away with smile...I hope! At least is what i try...

• What is your dream?

My dream is never lost the joy of creating, never lose the inspiration and produce much more and that always see a smile on every person who see my work and most importantly have everyone that I love with me and just be happy...This accomplishes all my dreams!

• Are you dreaming in your art pieces? Do they have a personal message

In some ways I can say that yes, I am dreaming in my pieces of art, I believe that each person who creates his world, his family, produces dreaming with itself; see what we do not see…

In some there is a personal message, inspired by someone special, but in general the message is conveyed to everybody but I think that each person interprets its own way and that is what I think interesting!

• What is the story of the girl and a boy from LOVE HURTS series?

Let me begin by warning that does not have any sense this story, like many that I create simply appear and that is what I find funny and gives me much pleasure.

In this story Mrs Lovely is a sensitive girl who was sad and wanted a romantic dinner and asked to Mr Tie to use a tie because it was a special occasion she wanted him pretty and he was sad because it had to use tie and he hates ties, that’s it...But basically they are a very sweet couple and loving to each other.

• What you wanted to be when you were a child?

When I was a child, I loved playing football, I wanted to be football player ... but since my mother gave me some pens to paint and a sketchbook everything changed, my life changed; and I think the rest you must calculate!

I do not imagine doing anything else.

• What is your normal day like?

Once upon a time a normal day in my life:

So I wake up early because I love to read the newspaper and drinking coffee keep me informed of what is happening in world because I do not usually watch TV, then I organize my day and what I have to do, then I will make the lunch calmly waiting for the Simpsons start, then I go to the street take a coffee with my friends, talk a little, laugh, relax, usually in the afternoon I go home, listening music (indispensable) and work, drawing, invent something; at night I take my dinner quietly, then I will always, always have a drink with my friends and spend a good time so after that I come home and keep going with my work, if I don’t have much work I enjoy spend a little time on the Internet, I like to see people work, I think it is good see the talent and work from another people you learn very much with that; after that I go to bed and I have to see a movie before falling asleep, I love this part!
And it finishes like this the history of a normal day in my life...

• The last thing which made you cry (from joy or sorrow)?

The last thing that made me cry curiously was not long time ago, was to have seen my brother’s graduation, left me very, very proud because it was a difficult journey and also for other reasons he had then made me cry of happiness and pride because he accomplish is objective successfully.

• What will you do after answering this short interview?

The first thing I will do is see the errors, and then I’m gone finished a special gift for a great friend of my, a painting on canvas, it’s his birthday; which means...It’s party night today!!!
