HELLO MOYTOY FRIENDS!!!
It seems that some time has passed since our last collab....
And now we are ready for a new one
WE HAVE AN IDEA OF CREATING TOGETHER A NEW YEAR CALENDAR!
MOYTOY has a plan of organize an exhibition in a cozy place in Vilnus.
But we can not do that without you! so if you are still not in winter sleep, still full of ideas and can steal a free minute
from your sleep, join this project and , by the way, let's meet 2009 with a nice calendar in your pocket.
THE IDEA OF THE EXHIBITION.
You are invited to send us illustrations for every month of the year.
Each month are linked with some key words which you have to use.
So the same months made by different people will have something in common.
Your art peaces will be exhibited in A3 format and little copies (5x9 cm) for making your own calendar.So everyone in exhibition or online will be able to choose favorite months designs and make their own original calendar. What do you think?
We would like to expose 5- 10 best illustrations of every month.
-You can draw pictures for one, two, three or all months of the year,
-You can choose your favorite months or keywords.
-You can also use pictures you already have if it fits the month's key words.
- It’s not necessary to use month’s name in your picture.
-You don’t need to draw other side of calendar (with dates).
- It’s not necessary to use MOYTOY logo in your picture.
POINT by POINT
SUBJECT: Illustrations for selected month of the year using/reflecting given key words.
PARTICIPANTS: Artistic and creative public. Anyone interested from any age or occupation.
TECHNIQUE: Freestyle, but at the end it should come in the electronic format (tif., ai., eps.)
DEADLINE: 1st of December, 2008.
IMPORTANT!!!
FORMAT: All pictures has to be send in TWO different formats:
42X23 cm (for exhibition) and 9X5 (for calendar). Tif- resolution 300, or ai., eps. files.
HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL POSITION WILL BE MARKED ON SPECIFIC SEASON.
