Although amber is ancient material and it has long traditions in Baltic aria we usually find it very boring for modern life. Why?
Art center of Baltic amber invites graphic design artists to present new look of amber and show that this organic element could be good material for many modern art forms.
We believe there are many talented people around who would be interested in this project so there it is all information we get from ART INCUBATOR.
Art incubator „ from generation to generation “
Requests for exhibits: 3840 x 2304 resolution, 300 dpi, in *.jpg, *.psp, *.pdf, *.gif, *.png formats. Video works: non compressed .avi format, could be also without sound.
Term for artists: works must be presented for the gallery till 2009 m. June 10th.
Event place: Art center of Baltic amber, Šv. Mykolo str. 12, Vilnius, Lithuania.
Organizators: Art center of Baltic amber.
Idea: Collaborate with graphic design artists in one project, present new look of amber and show them that this organic element could be good material not only for juwellery but also for nowaday modern art forms.
Purpose:
Introduce amber, present how to work with it, what kind of material is it.
Present other conception and other way of art.
Present that all types of design could be well known for everybody.
Introduce for city guests young graphic designers.
Prizes: 15 000 of BADDOG posters – printed with participants works witch You will find everywhere.
Chance to show Yourself and Your works in special „Ore.lt“ website gallery.
Grand prize still isn`t published but it will be more and better than these all prizes together and opurtunity to show more works after Art incubator „ from genaration to generation “.
